Sandalwood Construction built our beach house about thirteen years ago and it was a smooth, easy construction project. Billy did an excellent design, the quality of the workmanship was outstanding. It is the sturdiest house I have ever had built and today it is still in very good condition. Last year we went to Sandalwood for an addition. We never considered using anyone else to build the addition. The addition turned out excellent. The quality of workmanship is still outstanding. The carpenters, plumber, electrician, etc were all excellent to work with and did a fantastic job. We are very pleased and would recommend them to anyone wanting a quality custom built home on the outer banks.

Dear Debbie and Sandalwood Construction, I first got interested in building a house in the OBX back in 1996.
When I finally decided to build in 1998, Billy sat down with us for several hours. He answered all of our questions and listened to our concerns. A couple of weeks later, we received a copy of the plans for my first house, Maigen. His plans were perfect! I do not believe I made any modifications. When Maigen was completed in April 1999, it was already sold out and positive cash flow for me in its first year. Vacationers raved about Maigen in the guest book and rentals remained strong throughout the time I owned her. As far as construction goes, when Hurricane Floyd ravaged North Carolina, I was down in Maigen for it and rode out the storm. I lost power and the wind was howling, but after it was all over, Maigen suffered no damage at all. Maintenance issues were miniscule, despite having hundreds of people living in the house every year. If I ever build another house in the OBX, I will surely use Sandalwood Construction.
